Wow that scone looks so scrumptious- I remember when we were kids, my mom would bring home Kaiser rolls, and our favorites were always the ones with onions and poppy seeds on them. Thanks for pointing out such a similar-looking recipe! Have a great weekend! (And I think the commening problem has been solved- yay!)
Great scone, Emmy, looks hearty and healthy. And your soup… mmmmmmmm. Better than Campbell’s could ever wannabe. It’s actually getting chilly here in SoCal, and i sure would love some of both…
Stay cool… stay warm!
I think I’ll be making that soup tonight. I never thought of using kale in soup, but I have all of the ingredients listed and need to use them soon!
Nikki, I started using Kale in my soups only recently. I think I saw it first at Vicki’s blog where she made a soup with kale. Like you, I had never thought of using it in soups. Plus, when the spinach scare was at its peak, kale made for a great alternative. And just a little side note, try adding a bay leaf to your soup if you have one. It imparts a nice flavor.
