I was thinking of making these this week! It seems like all I’m making this week is either from VwaV or some take off of something in there… 🙂

Love those scones. The orange is such an underrated fruit, don’t you think? We can go on and on about blueberries and their awesome antioxidant power, the beauty of the inside colour of the kiwi and the mango, the pie-filling ability of the apple, even the smoothie-making power of frozen bananas, but the poor orange! So unappreciated in the grand scheme of things sometimes… Glad you gave this fruit some time in the spotlight/limelight. 🙂

Glad Rob loves his shooz! I’d buy from Alternative Outfitters to be sure. So nice that there was somethin’ he liked there. And you know, my mom and i are still singing your JC Penney penny-saving prowess praises, Emmy…

I agree: oranges are fabulous, and very evocative of Fall/Winter. Chocolate & orange is one of the best combinations. Emmy, your scones look fabulous. Congrats to Rob on his new shoes! I also really love MooShoes. I bought a pair of boots there almost 2 years ago, and am really attached to them. Very stylish.

    Great shoes.

And great scones. I made themn with lemon when I was out of oranges, and they also turned out tasty.

I’ve made those before and they’re wicked good. Yours are a lot prettier than mine, though. 🙂
