Good luck with the move and new job! I’m getting ready for a relocation to Georgia myself because the area I live in currently doesn’t have a need for graphic designers. Keeping my fingers crossed that your house sells very quickly!

    Mama Gannouj? That’s great!

I also love all things gingerbread…so good!

Good luck with the move and everything.

I’d never heard of mama gannouj- and I agree with Nikki, it sounds cool! That is so great that you guys found good vegan food on the road. On most road trips, vegan food for me means potato chips and coke (or if I’m very good, something I packed myself!)
It sounds like this move is the right thing for you guys, so continued good luck. congrats on the new job!

Oh, and raccoons! I had to laugh at that one- you know how much I love raccoons!

Raccoons are such food bandits! I’m glad they didn’t get your food from Pita House. Zucchini hummus – yum!

I hope Chicago works out great for you!

How cute! I love the raccoon story. 🙂 It looks like you guys are having a good move, that’s so wonderful. 🙂 I’ve actually learned to love moving. It really helps keep your life simplified. I’ll be praying for luck on your house to sell. My parents are trying to sell right now, too, and it’s just unfortunate that we’re in a buyer’s market right now 😦

Peace! And don’t break any Pyrex!!

I love the food finds! 😛 I hope to luck out like that when we travel!

Raccoon! Run! LOL! I can just imagine how funny that sounded!!!

Good luck with everything Emmy ! I hope that this new life in Chicago will be even more wonderful taht you are hoping for !
So, are you going to live near the Chicago Diner ? 😉

I love raccoons 🙂 I’m sure it’s scary to run into one when you don’t expect to, though LOL

I love the sound of that Mama Gannouj. I might have to work on that. And good luck on your move! Moving sucks.

Hey – it’s cool that you’re moving to Chicago! I just moved here in August and it’s pretty enjoyable so far. There are tasty veggie restaurants, if nothing else. Good luck with the move!

kalamazoo kalamazoo kalamazoo – just had to get that out of my system – what a cool name. and they have a cool co-op too – it’s not easy to eat vegan on the road & that it’s easily marked is a total bonus.

art and i watched 2 racoons up our tree in the middle of the night — jolie barked like a banchee, but it was fascinating. they mad-dog us at our back door too, & they aren’t afraid of us. glad you got away from those BANDITS! best of luck with your move & i’m crossed that your home sells now.

Adios Detroit & Adios Vegetarian Family! I’ve moved too — hope you’ll update me & drop by on along your way to Chicago.
