Looks like you’ve found a great Thai restaurant!

My mom has been making me and Chase and my brother decorate ourselves with bows from our gifts so she can have her traditional “bowhead” pictures! Maybe I’ll still be posing at 95….

Glad the squirrel had a positive effect on you. Grandma looks happy, better keep her on low doses of the cookbooks though. Your restaurant food is awesome! I live in the middle of rural cow, pig and chicken factory country :o( , but we are getting a place or two that serves the “good” stuff within 50 mile drives. :o)

    Your soup looks great.
We sound a lot alike as far as kitchens go. I like my cabinets (including handles) and refrigerator spotless and clean, perfectly organized. I find that it’s better to put things into groups, like all flours together (with a label on teh door of the cabinet corresponding with the shelf and section of shelf), grains/legumes that are dry, nuts/seeds, dried fruit, pasta, seaweed, and then other canned or aseptic goods. Good luck with everything. I’m sure you’ll find a place where it will fit eventually!

Emmy, that Thai food looks so delicious! Glad to hear you’re getting settled. Don’t ya just love Ikea? I miss having one nearby. Grammy is so cute and what a great sport! She doesn’t look anywhere near 95!

Ahh Thai Food- a woman after my own heart! Everything looks fantastic, and I really appreciate their “vegetarian” designation.

Don’t you love Ikea? I don’t live near one, but I will get my fill of it on my holiday travels. Love those spoons.

Early Christmas with your family- what a fantastic (and less stressful) idea for you guys.

I’m glad you are settling in in Chicago, and it’s great to have you blogging again, Emmy!

That Thai looks fantastic – even for an avowed omnivore like me. We have some surprisingly good Thai and Japanese restaurants here in Maine, but not quite that good! Will you ship? : )
