Hi Emmy! I’m a huge spice-user too, so I would probably want to increase the spices in this peperoni. I will probably try this recipe soon!

That looks so real, like from the grocery store — great job. Did it take long to make?

That’s how ya do it, Emmy. Nice!! Love seein’ the big ol’ spices in there. Beautiful!

I found that I needed more spices in it too. I didn’t have any liquid smoke when I made it but now I’ve bought some. Just waiting until I move to the new flat so I can start cokking and baking again.

    Uummm… pizza subs!

Beautiful! I’m glad the extra spices worked well for you. I’m already trying to figure out which spices/combinations I’ll use in my next batch. Baked seitan is so great! I’ll never over-pay for store bought vegan deli meats again!

Thanks for the great comments everyone 🙂

Aurora’s Mom, it doesn’t take long at all to put together. You’ll probably spend the most time measuring out all the spices. I use a really large mixing bowl too so I’m able to knead the mixture right in the bowl. It does have to bake for an hour and fifteen minutes. The recipe went together much quicker and easier than I anticipated. Let me know how it turns out if you make it. I totally agree with Bazu’s comment and have to add that I too will not be buying the store-bought vegan pepperoni again.

Brian, thanks for stopping by 🙂 I’m going to add you to my blogroll too. I will definitely check out your cooking blog.

This looks delicious – and professionally made! I’m afraid it would be a bit too spicy for my wussy palate, though. 😉
